Making Waves: British Swim School

Underlining the great importance of our kids’ safety and dedicating all the time and energy to give them a chance when it comes to aquatic incidents, British Swim School became an integrated part of many communities in the US.

So we were pleased to be given a chance to prove our skills once again, imagining a new and highly improved version for their website, transforming all their core values it into a beautiful aquatic fantasy.

The design imagined an underwater world with reflections and beautiful shades of blue, creating a perfect scene for British Swim School to display all the information on their activities and events. Perfectly integrating their chic, patriotic logo, the layout embeds red accented elements, creating an unique feel of  integrity, from the simple top menu to the highlights.

The two menus (side and top) enable easy browsing and an exciting, smooth user experience, so the visitor won’t feel like… a fish out of water.

Opening with a fun jQuery embedded  slideshow, the main page highlights all the important topics of the website, offering, at the same time, a brief description on each of them.

Being introduced with a chic drop down menu, the Locations page opens with an integrated aquatic blue, visual flash map, displaying the states housing various locations where British Swim School runs its activities. Gracefully matching the layout’s warm red accents, each state change its color on hover.

And since every location has a personality of its own, each one of them has a dedicated page, where you can find useful information, pricing lists and fun photo galleries, and a detailed list of classes and swimming programs, enriched with playful, bright colored aquatic characters, that will steal a smile from the first glance.

So in order to offer an even smoother browsing experience for its users, each page displays an integrated small Google Map, to help you find your way around.

Since being up to date is a must these days, to keep everyone well informed in the matters of swimming, the website also has the benefits of a well structured (and easy to navigate) blog page.

The design displays the same playful, aquatic wonderland layout, wonderfully matching the website design, creating a perfect symmetry. Here you can find everything from swimming news and important events to meaningful stories that are meant to  underline the great importance of learning to swim, mainly for toddlers.

One of the most important characteristics of British Swim School is that they offer franchising options. The dedicated page displays a perfectly integrated visual flash map.

And along with everything you need to know about the franchising options they share, the website also provides a customized dynamic Contact Form, which will automatically update swimming programs once you selected a location of your interest.

But we said enough. Now we invite you to dive in and let the design speak for itself. You can learn more about the British Swim School team and their activities on the British Swim School website. And if you enjoyed our newest design, we invite you to browse our gallery of websites to see all the bright, colorful layouts we imagined.
