Pledge to End Child Hunger: Share Our Strength

In the process of trying to make the world we live in a better place, not only for ourselves but for our children as well, every little contribution is a big step forward. And creating a way of easily, and most of all, efficiently communicating with each other becomes a leading point in this matter.

So through designing the website for Share Our Strength Florida,  we are once again honored and happy to step up aside non-profit organizations in the pursuit of their dreams, helping them make their voices loudly heard.

This campaign started by Share Our Strength brings into the spotlight the concerning issue of childhood hunger in America, developing – along with its partners and supporters – a strategy of bringing everyone together in this fight for a better life for our children.

The website has a simple, yet sharp layout, using an unsophisticated menu and making the browsing experience elegant and easy, displaying in one click everything you need to know. The bright colored accents we used offer a fresh and modern look to the website and also underline the matters of greater importance on each page.

Built on WordPress, we made sure this website enjoys all the benefits that this platform has to offer: from the easy and efficient update process to the informative events calendar, which offers an overview of the event on hover, providing detailed information about each one of them in a small pop-up window that appears when clicking.

And since this project is all about involvement and sharing our strength, it was also important to provide a way of sharing both worries and successful moments with updated overviews from blog posts, Facebook posts and meaningful news, integrating them in the website layout and keeping the strong unitary look we created for this website.

We have yet again to express our thanks and appreciation to Ari Glassman of  rAv Communications for offering us the opportunity of designing this website.
